Foundation's President to Give Key Note Address at Austrailian Conference

In the first week of September, Director Todd Temkin will appear as a key note speaker for the Subtropical Cities 2008 Conference in Brisbane, Australia.

Hosted by the Centre for Subtropical Design, the conference, “From Fault Lines to Sight Lines,” will take place September 3 – 6 in the State Library of Queensland. The Centre and Conference will address urban theory and design for cities that fall within the Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn. International urban thinkers and designers will converge in Brisbane to participate in open forum between cities who face similar urban and climatic obstacles and situations. Temkin will be one of four key note speakers at the conference to discuss how future climate and population change will affect urban growth and sustainability.
